Whether you have a specific design which includes an Internal Mixer, or a Backwash Recirculation Pump, or an Air Compressor for backwash, or you will prefer our revolutionary simple design and yet much effective and does not need any mixer, or recirculation pump, or air compressor. Our revolutionary very simple design relies on mixing air bubbles with incoming flow using a non-moving air eductor. In fact there is no need for either an external pump or an internal mixer to complete the backwash step. This way the resulting filter is much simpler in design, with much more effective cost, needs far less maintenance, and much more reliable. The filter medium is the well-known black walnut shell.

AIR/GAS FLOTATION UNITS

Crude oil is having a specific gravity about equal to water; consequently we refer to mix the flow of oily water with gas bubbles. Gas bubbles will surround oil droplets, and speed up their separation by bringing the oil droplets to the surface, where it will coalesce with the bulk of collected oil.
Clairmonte Processes is providing advanced air/gas flotation units including the following progressive steps:
a) Allowing the gas to be mixed directly with water flow, avoiding the contact of gas with water which will saturate the gas with water.
b) Eliminating pumps used for internal re-circulation.
c) Collecting separated oil droplets mixed with gas bubbles through a float system.
